Lauren is deeply passionate about improving community wellbeing outcomes, promoting gender equality and driving social justice. As our Communications Specialist, she is primarily responsible for managing DVRCV’s The Lookout project.
Lauren has previously worked for other feminist organisations committed to the prevention of violence against women. While volunteering with an organisation called HerSpace, Lauren was involved in developing, monitoring and evaluating therapeutic support programs for women survivors of sexual exploitation. In her spare time, Lauren continues to volunteer with HerSpace and also provides administrative and program support to the Community Wellbeing and Justice team at The Australian Red Cross.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Media & Communications and Criminology.
