Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA)

Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA) offers free and confidential services to men, women and children who have been affected by sexual assault or rape.

Services include:

  • Counselling
  • Support with legal processes – making statements, forensic examinations, court appearances, advocacy
  • Referral to other appropriate services
  • Advocacy
  • Community Education
  • Support to other professionals

CASA covers the West and North West Coasts of Tasmania. There are counselling rooms in Burnie and Devonport.

Appointments are made in other locations by special arrangements, taking into consideration confidentiality and anonymity.
