Elder Abuse: Assessing and Responding

In this session participants will gain a knowledge of professional obligations, duty of care, clients rights, capacity and consent, the collecting and reporting of evidence and referral pathways. Participants will gain a comprehensive knowledge of how to respond to situations of elder abuse, and will focus on the safety and well-being of older people experiencing abuse.

This session is for advanced practitioners, and complies with the Victorian State Government’s Elder Abuse Prevention Strategy.
