The DVRCV Advocate is a unique biannual magazine for workers in the family violence and allied sectors, providing a wide range of easy-to-read articles on issues affecting our work.
DVRCV Advocate brings research, theory and practice together – it provides discussion and reflection on practice dilemmas and innovations, emerging approaches, and the latest findings from research.
DVRCV Advocate is also the only Victorian publication that contains a comprehensive listing of support groups available in local regions.
It is published in May and November.
Readers comment that the Advocate:
‘makes me think’, ‘contains variety which is always appealing’, ‘keeps me intellectually on my toes’, and ‘has a good balance of theory and practice’ (comments from our evaluation in 2005).
