What PiP provides members
Partners in Prevention website
The Partners in Prevention website (PiP) is a website for workers that is regularly updated with useful resources, news, events and good practice.
PiP events support members to come together and hear from guest presenters, share ideas and discuss their work. See learnings and outcomes from previous meetings and keep an eye on the homepage and bulletin to stay posted on upcoming meetings and speakers.
Bi-monthly email bulletins provide information, resources, news and details of upcoming events relating to respectful relationships education.
Consultation and advice
The PiP Project Coordinator has information on respectful relationships education projects across the state and the latest research on best practice. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (03) 9486 9866 to contact the Coordinator.
After a few months in my new job, I felt how enormous this area was and that maybe I wasn’t the right person. Then I attended a PiP meeting and I was amazed and delighted at this seemly underground movement of dedication, diversity and information that was strong, credible and extensive. And yes it was collegial and connective!!
In 2011, PiP completed a thorough impact evaluation. The findings of the evaluation clearly indicate that the PiP project has been successful in building the professional capacity of the youth-focused primary prevention of violence against women sector in Victoria and fostering a community of practice around this work.
