The Victorian Minister for Education, Bronwyn Pike, announced yesterday that the DEECD will be partnering with CASA House to deliver the respectful relationships demonstration project in schools. The project will be trialled in 4 schools before the middle of the year.

The Partner’s in Prevention Evaluation Working Group operated from October 2008 to January 2010. The group conducted a needs analysis with PiP network members and carried out a range of evaluation capacity building activities. This is an archive of meeting minutes and activities of the group.

The relationship between primary and tertiary responses to violence against women is an issue that seems to crop up in community sector circles on a regular basis. Preventing violence against women before it occurs is a mammoth task. It’s going to take all of us, working in partnership to create the change that’s needed. That being said, how do we understand the intersections between primary prevention, secondary intervention and tertiary responses to violence against women?
