South East Women and Children's Services
South East Women and Children's Services runs programs in the Bega Valley and Eurobodalla Shires for women, children and young people experiencing family and/or domestic violence.
Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV)
This program covers the Bega Valley Shire from Digmans Creek to the Victorian border. SHLV provides outreach support and advocacy for women who wish to stay in the home of their choice following domestic and family violence.
Support includes a thorough assessment of risk, safety and support needs including security measures and assistance at court, combined with appropriate and coordinated referral for both women and children, with an option for long term case management.
Eurobodalla Domestic and Family Violence Service
Works with women and women with children experiencing domestic and family violence. The service assists men to access early intervention support, information, referrals to targeted services, support in securing community and private tenancies, transitional accommodation, intensive support and holistic, planned crisis responses.
The service also provides support to single adults and families whose tenancies are at risk to sustain these tenancies.
South East Youth Accommodation Service
A service that provides support, advocacy and referrals for single youth aged between 16 and 25 who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. The service assists and supports young people to remain safely in their existing housing or secure and sustain safe and stable housing.
