Queensland Association of Independent Legal Centres is state-based peak body representing funded and unfunded Community Legal Centres (CLCs) throughout Queensland.
There are 34 accredited CLCs located throughout metropolitan and rural Queensland.
Most centres deal with all major areas of law and provide services to people who live or work in the surrounding area.
CLCs provide an initial consultation on most matters of law to any member of the community.
All centres provide their services free of charge.
